Traditional Shaped Balloon - The Reach for the Stars Balloon

We are proud to announce the arrival of our newest balloon " Pala Casino". This accessible balloon has been provided by the generous donation from Pala Casino. The basket is equipped with a VIP chair for sitting, a door for easy access and a viewing window for easy viewing below. This balloon was custom built by Kubicek Balloons. It has a volume of 120,000 cubic feet. It can accommodate up to 6 passengers standing* or 1 person sitting in VIP chair or wheelchair and up to 3 others*.
Our original wheelchair accessible balloon has the image of the child reaching for stars that are scattered across the top of the envelope. On one side, the child is standing, on the other the child is seated in a wheelchair. In between the two images are beautiful sunrise graphics. Standing 65 feet tall (20 meters), it has a volume of 105,000 cubic feet (nearly 3,000 cubic meters), it was also made for us in Barcelona, Spain by Ultra Magic Balloons. The child represents each of us trying to become the best we can be and reminding us to always reach for the stars. Since its creation in 2000, this balloon has given more than 25,000 children and adults tethered rides or flights. *The number of people is dependent on overall weight and outside temperatures. |

The Traditional Shaped Balloon can be used for
- Actual Flights – The wheelchair accessible basket makes it fast and easy to load passengers. The door opens a full 36″ wide to accommodate a full sized standard wheelchair. The racking system locks the chair in place and the window allows a view down from the seated position. The basket can hold 4 standing passengers or 1 seated and up to 3 passengers plus the pilot (depending on balloon).
- Tethered Flights – An up and down elevator-type ride secured to the ground with ropes. Often used at events where a large number of people are being accommodated, such as festivals, camps, schools, etc. Popular with corporate sponsors, we are able to add a banner to the “back” of the wheelchair to promote the event or sponsor.
- Appearances & Static Inflation – The Traditional balloon can simply be inflated at ground level and held in place by ropes. It is a guaranteed attention-getter and will definitely draw interest to an event or cause. - Night Glows – This is basically a Static Inflation done at night. When the burner is lit to heat the internal air, the entire balloon lights up like a giant light bulb illuminating both children and the other graphics. It is a site to be seen!
